Round banquet tables in ivory linen, with burgundy napkins and an open floor beyond

Elmhurst, Queens · Broadway

A white hall for the day your family will retell.

White Hall is a second-floor banquet room on Broadway for weddings, birthdays, retirements, and the gatherings in between — with in-house catering, room to seat a full family, and a manager who picks up the phone.

74-10 Broadway, Fl 2 · Elmhurst, NY 11373 · Walkable from Roosevelt Avenue

The hall

The room, held for you

White Hall is built for the way Queens actually celebrates: multi-generation weddings, milestone birthdays, retirement dinners, and community receptions that need a proper hall rather than a restaurant corner.

The floor is private to the booking. Guests arrive on Broadway, come up to a dressed room, and stay in one place for ceremony-style welcomes, dinner, speeches, and dancing.

Mr. Shayam Karki, General Manager, handles the date, the menu, and the run of show. One person accountable, from the first call to the last table cleared.

NO. 01

The banquet floor

The main room is the whole event: welcome, meal, speeches, and dancing on one private floor. For the booking window, you are not sharing that floor with another reception.

NO. 02

The side room

A private side room can be reserved, on request, when the wedding party or the hosts need a quieter place. It is confirmed on the walkthrough. It is not a second ballroom.

Four reasons

Why White Hall

  1. 01

    Prime Broadway address

A Walker’s Paradise in Elmhurst, steps from Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue (E, F, M, R, 7) and a short walk from Elmhurst Avenue (M, R). Families coming from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island are not hunting for a side street.

  2. 02

    One floor, one event

When your date is confirmed, the hall is yours for the booking window. No shared lobby scramble with a stranger’s reception.

  3. 03

    Catering in the house

Menus are planned with the hall, not bolted on from a random vendor the week before. Plated, buffet, and family-style service can be quoted to the guest count.

  4. 04

A manager, not a call center

Reach Mr. Shayam Karki directly at +1 347 656 5326 to check a date, a menu, or a floor plan.

Amenities

What the room is set up to do

01

Banquet floor

Round tables and longer family tables are dressed before your guests sit. The plan leaves a clear path from those seats to the dance floor.

02

Stage and speeches

A head table or a stage zone is set for vows, retirement remarks, and toasts. Handheld microphones are available on request.

03

Dance floor and lighting

The floor stays open so dinner and dancing happen in the same room. Warm ambient light carries the meal, and a color wash is there when the room shifts to music.

04

In-house catering

Cocktail-hour bites, a buffet or plated dinner, and late sweets are planned with the hall, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, and allergy-conscious plates quoted in advance. Kosher-style service is available on request and is not claimed as certified kosher.

05

Getting-ready room

A private side room can be held for the wedding party or the hosts. Ask for it on the walkthrough; it is arranged on request.

06

Arrival and access

Guests come in from Broadway and up to the second-floor hall, with street parking, nearby garages, and the subway at the corner. Valet can be arranged on request.

Ample seated and reception capacity for neighborhood weddings and large family celebrations. Exact chair counts, linen colors, and AV are confirmed on the walkthrough.

Occasions

The day you are actually planning

Tell us the occasion when you call. The floor plan, the menu, and the timing change with it.

Weddings and marriage parties

A ceremony welcome and the reception share one floor. Baraat-friendly timing can be requested, and the vendor load-in window is confirmed in writing.

Engagement parties and anniversaries

The room still dresses for a smaller headcount: a real meal, time for speeches, and the dance floor if the evening calls for it.

Birthdays and sweet sixteens

Milestone birthdays and sweet sixteens can use the stage zone, the dance floor, and a menu written for a mixed table. Entrances and cake are timed in the proposal.

Retirement ceremonies

A retirement dinner needs a place for remarks and a room that can hear the speaker. The floor plan can lead with speeches and open to dancing if you want it.

Bridal and baby showers

Showers can be seated, with a quieter service and a menu that does not assume a full night of dancing. A side room for gifts or the hosts is on request.

Community, cultural, and corporate gatherings

Community receptions, cultural programs, and corporate gatherings can take the floor for a seated program. Outside presenters still need the written approval in your agreement.

What we can put on the proposal

  • Date hold and a walkthrough with the General Manager
  • Floor plan for a seated dinner, or for dinner and dancing
  • Custom catering proposal: cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and dietary notes
  • Bar options quoted separately: hosted bar, consumption bar, or a celebratory toast. Alcohol service only as the booking terms permit
  • Linen, chairs, stage, and a basic lighting package
  • Coordination on the event day
  • Setup and breakdown of White Hall equipment
  • Optional add-ons on request: extra uplighting, a photo area, outside DJ approval, and specialty décor vendors

Proposals are written to your date, guest count, and menu. Ask for a written quote.

Cuisine

Dinner that can carry a Queens guest list

Elmhurst families do not all eat one menu. White Hall quotes South Asian, Nepali, American, Latin, and mixed receptions, and treats a vegetarian-heavy table as a first plan rather than a side note. Service can be buffet, family style, or plated. For a larger wedding, a tasting can be scheduled before a deposit is discussed.
